PC-CREAM Radiological Impact Assessment Software

World-leading radiation protection advice, services

It is expected that all radiation protection services currently provided by the Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards (CRCE) within PHE will transfer into the new UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) with effect from October 2021. Please be assured that this transition does not affect arrangements with clients; all contracts for services and appointments of PHE in a radiation protection expert capacity will remain valid. Clients will be notified when the transition is complete and the change of name comes into effect.

Public Health England is the UK's primary authority carrying out research to advance knowledge about protection from the risks of radiation. We provide world-leading advice, training and services for the widest range of radiation protection safety professionals and organisations.

PC-CREAM 08® comprises a suite of models and data which can be used to perform the radiological impact assessments of routine, continuous discharges from virtually any type of installation and for performing prospective assessments as a key input to discharge authorisations and waste management decisions.
