It is expected that all radiation protection services currently provided by the Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards (CRCE) within PHE will transfer into the new UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) with effect from October 2021. Please be assured that this transition does not affect arrangements with clients; all contracts for services and appointments of PHE in a radiation protection expert capacity will remain valid. Clients will be notified when the transition is complete and the change of name comes into effect.
