Overview

This year’s Forum will update stakeholders on various aspects of radon.


 

Who will benefit?

The forum should interest many professionals including those with an interest in radon protection and remediation in buildings, Local Authority officers, radon remediation specialists and environmental radiation consultants.

 

Aims

To provide an update on recent radon publications and initiatives. There will be opportunities to discuss radon issues and network with a range of radon specialists including scientists, environmental consultants, environmental health officers, radon remedial contractors and others. A small amount of space is available for commercial displays: please contact radon@phe.gov.uk for further information.

Registration is from 9:30, the programme starts at 10:00 and ends 16:15.

  • Workplace radon.
  • Validation scheme.
  • Radon mapping.
  • Caves and underground spaces.
  • Interactive sessions: These are workshop style sessions for participants. An introduction will be provided and participants will be encouraged to interact and discuss. The spaces in these sessions are limited so please select your preferences on the next screen during the booking process.
